Charitable donations
We are always proud of the way that our colleagues support the local community. This year has of course been very difficult with increasing numbers of people in stressful and challenging circumstances.
Donations in the early part of 2020 were made to PACT House in Stanley, Anxious Minds and Willow Burn Hospice. Once the pandemic hit, we turned our attention to also supporting front line workers, with donations of hand sanitiser bottles which were in very short supply. These were provided to Stanley Park Care Home and Durham Country Council.
December's charity initiative is our 12 Days of Giving raffle. We usually raise money through our Christmas party, but this year we gave our employees the chance to win some fabulous prizes and raise money for a local charity. Every day until the 18th December a colleague had the opportunity to win a prize and contribute to a charity chosen by our workforce.
Staff celebrations
We had a double celebration this year when not one, but two colleagues celebrated 35 years at SONE. John Ord and Colin Swinbank are our longest serving employees and we’d like to say a big thank you to them for their commitment and loyalty.
Product launches
It’s been a great year for new products. We’ve launched three new bottles – 120ml in round and rectangular formats plus a 50ml pack, the e-Funnel for even easier filling and we now offer the option of having caps printed for even more impact.
Customer news
We are pleased to supply a wide portfolio of the leading e-liquid brands with 10ml, 30ml, 60ml and 120ml packs. Ecigwizard and Zeus Group are two of the companies that we have further built our relationships with this year.
A new market
Recently we launched our range of Health & Personal Care bottles in 30ml, 50ml, 60ml and 100ml sizes, developed to provide a safe and secure way to protect and dispense hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial products.
