Usually, we end each year with a Christmas party and activities to raise money for a local charity, but as we know, 2020 was different.
Instead, we organised the 12 Days of Giving raffle. For 12 consecutive days in December an employee had the opportunity to win a fabulous prize and most importantly, to contribute to a worthwhile charitable cause.
We are really pleased to report that our generous employees, with a contribution from SONE, have raised £1308 and have chosen two great local charities to receive donations.
Children North East have been helping babies, children, and young people grow up to be healthy and happy since 1891. Whether in their family, at school or in their local community, the charity is there to provide support.
FACT, based in Gateshead, offers a range of non-clinical services for people diagnosed with cancer, as well as support for their families, friends, and carers. Help is offered through social groups, exercise classes, a wig service and counselling, to name but a few.
SONE was delighted to be able to help support these two charities through this difficult time.
