In advance of legislation coming into force in May 2016 as part of the EU's Tobacco Products Directive, SONE has received child resistant certification for two packs in its 10ml E-Liquid range.
The EU’s Tobacco Products Directive* is driving tighter controls on e-cigarettes and refill containers.
To ensure that customers have the confidence that its products meet the latest standards, SONE submitted its LDPE and PETg packs for testing by a UKAS accredited body. Both pack types passed and are now certified to ISO8317, the standard for child resistant packaging - Requirements for testing procedures for re-closable packages.
In support of our customers and to ensure best practice, SONE employs industry standards supported by proven and robust systems. These include:
- Statement certification from raw material suppliers
- Compliance with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals)
