Our Progress
The UK has set a world-leading net zero target and is the first major economy to do so.
In line with this, SONE has started a programme of investment and change with the goal to make our business sustainable and crucially, support our customers' own green goals.
Over the past few months, we have:
- Changed to a renewable source of electricity
- Fully installed new LED lighting saving approximately 26 tonnes of CO2
- Signed into a Climate Change Agreement with the Environment Agency with defined targets set to reduce our energy consumption
The UK's Net Zero strategy
The government has laid out a Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution with a vision to transition the UK to clean energy by 2050.
