SONE’s generous employees raised £650 from their 12 Days of Giving and Christmas Jumper Day in December. The company matched this sum making a total of £1,300 that has been donated to two local charities.
The charities, chosen by SONE’s employees, are Derwentside Trust and James Cook Hospital Neonatal Charitable Fund.
Derwentside Trust delivers valuable voluntary and community activities through Glenroyd House in Consett, County Durham. Services include a food bank, counselling, sexual health clinics, a drug and alcohol centre and job search clubs. For more information and to donate, please click here.
James Cook Hospital Neonatal Charitable Fund helps give treatment and care over and above those that the NHS would routinely provide. This includes a tranquil and relaxing outdoor space where people can take a break from the busy ward and the latest medical or technical equipment.
