Following significant investment and the recent acquisition of two Novapax NSB 650/110 injection blow moulding machines, SONE has announced that the machines are now fully commissioned and operational.
The introduction of IBM technology further serves to enhance SONE's offer as well as complementing its existing extrusion blow moulding and injection moulding capabilities, all of which are available from its north east based manufacturing facility.
This is good news for SONE’s growing customer base across the cosmetics, healthcare and personal care sectors and of particular interest to brands that require small containers.
Using its IBM capability, SONE can manufacture complex or asymmetrical container shapes of between 5ml and 250ml in size. Bottles and containers are manufactured using a range of materials such as HDPE, LDPE, PP or PET, with typical cavitations from 8 to 12.
From its UK base, SONE uses its innovative approach to manufacture the main components of a product, apply decoration and assemble them ready for distribution worldwide.
