Adding strength and depth to its business development team, SONE, a plastics packaging specialist which offers a complete range of services for the design, manufacture and assembly of innovative application solutions, has recently announced the appointments of Natalie Beresford and Alison Hughes.
Both Natalie and Alison, who have joined SONE in the role of business development executives, come from complementary backgrounds in plastics packaging, bringing with them sound industry knowledge.
Natalie, who will be responsible for a territory covering the south and east of the country, will draw on her experience of both flexible and rigid packaging in the beauty market to broaden the manufacturer’s growing customer base in that sector.
Meanwhile Alison, who will be covering the north and west of the UK, has experience of working with clients in both the personal care and food sectors, illustrating the diversity of her experience.
SONE's business development manager, Tony Burnell, welcomed both new starters to the organisation, commenting:
"I am pleased to announce the arrival of Natalie and Alison to the business development team. Thanks to their previous experience there is a certain synergy between them, and this, coupled with my own 25 years of all-round experience, adds further flexibility, as well as strength and depth to the sales team."
"The main focus of their day to day activities will be on identifying and winning new customers and I am confident of their ability to rise to that challenge."
Speaking about her new role, Alison added:
"Having worked in the packaging industry for more than a decade, I recognised the opportunity that being part of the SONE team presented. Its organisation, structure and service are first class and I look forward to sharing these advantages with customers in the health and beauty markets."
Adding her thoughts Natalie commented:
"I have two aspirations for my new role and they are to fully expose the UK beauty sector to the SONE offering and to achieve the sales growth that reflects the opportunities presented by the market."
