SONE supports… Working with those in the know
10th March 2021
SONE has become a member of the British Plastics Federation

As part of its strategy to support its customers and help them grow, SONE has become a member of the British Plastics Federation.

To best serve our customers, it is very important that we have a voice at a national level and access to the latest trends and information about our industry and sectors. With this goal in mind, SONE is a member of three trade bodies, each of which reflects our values and offers market-leading insights. These organisations are the British Plastics Federation, the UKVIA and Make UK.

The British Plastics Federation

A key aspect of the Plastics Federation (BPF) is their position as the UK’s foremost and longest running plastics trade association, with a membership that spans the whole plastics supply chain. It represents over 80% of the UK plastics industry by turnover.

With a remit to represent and promote the UK plastics industry, the BPF offers SONE the scope of vision to best understand the plastics market and make informed decisions about our policies.

UKVIA

The UK Vaping Industry Association is the UK’s leading forum for supporting, developing, and promoting the vaping sector. Being part of this organisation gives us the opportunity to network with those at the front line of vaping, develop our understanding of the market and gain a greater appreciation of the key trends affecting our e-liquid customers.

Make UK

Make UK, formerly the Engineering Employers Federation, champions engineering and manufacturing in the UK. With their help we can focus on the future needs of our customers in terms of digital technology, manufacturing best practice and the key green issues.

Raymond Oliver, SONE’s Chairman/CEO said; ‘Having strong representation and support through our trade body memberships allows us to obtain what we need to deliver innovation and excellence to our customers.’
